Greenfield’s parks and outdoor spaces transform into cozy winter escapes perfect for seasonal strolls and family outings. This year, a major highlight is the Dan Jansen Family Fest Rink at Konkel Park, opening for the Winter 2025–2026 season.

The rink is a natural outdoor ice rink, meaning cold, consistent winter weather is required for safe skating conditions. Before heading out, it’s recommended to call the cancellation line for the latest updates on delays or closures—messages are updated 24/7.
Visitors can enjoy a warming area and concessions during open hours, making it a cozy place for families to warm up between skates. The rink also offers FREE skate rentals and FREE skate trainers on a first-come, first-served basis. Supplies are limited, so bringing your own skates is encouraged when possible. If using the skate trainers, please return them to the warming area so others can enjoy them too.
